Mr. Deems joined ECCI with a BS in Environmental Engineering, and an Engineering Management Certificate from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His focus at ECCI is Clean Air Act permitting and compliance. Recognizing this as a complex and challenging area, he has been assisting other ECCI Clean Air Act experts in data analysis, complex emission calculations, air dispersion modeling, and compliance assistance through regulatory analysis and related recordkeeping systems.

He has experience in the Clean Air Act instruments related to a variety of industrial fields, including pulp and paper, coatings and adhesives users, hazardous waste combustion, mineral processing, and new gas to liquids technology.

Mr. Deems was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. After working with ECCI for four years while living in Little Rock, he decided there was so much to do and see across the country, and that the time was now. He self-converted a cargo van into a home on wheels fit to carry all the necessary toys and his new fiancé. They roam the American west in search of the best places to mountain bike, ski, climb, sightsee, have any type of good time, and keep up with friends. All this is done while continuing to maintain his career. Taylor and his wife, Taylor, tied the knot in Sedona, AZ in March 2021, and have no plans of slowing down.
