Mr. Mikel joined ECCI in 2012 bringing a strong background in biological sciences, teaching of technical subjects, and technical writing from his education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Since joining ECCI, Mr. Mikel has been able to use his strong science background and technical communications skills to help organize field operations.
Clean Air Act recordkeeping often requires use of specialty spreadsheets to calculate complex emissions from purchases of coatings, production processes, or monitoring of flows or various parameters in pollution control or treatment systems. Mr. Mikel is experienced at using computer air emission estimating programs, and he has prepared multiple technical reports related to mechanical integrity of industrial tanks and vessels based upon field photo documentation and field engineering notes.
Mr. Mikel’s ECCI experience includes field investigations, sampling and analysis of soils, surface water and groundwater at large aerospace-related facilities. He has prepared oil spill prevention plans for electrical utilities and agricultural related facilities.
